Time’s up Middens at Cedar Keys, Florida Largest remaining shell mound in the Gulf Coast. Covers 5 acres, built with remains of oysters, fish turtle and deer bones and household debris. Shell mound is nearly 6,000 years old and was constructed over a 3,500 year period (2500BC-1000AD) . During the Archaic and Woodland periods
