Case 7.3 (1-8) A 45-year-old woman complaining about progressive crowding of the upper and the lower front teeth. (9) VTO demonstrating that the intercanine width had to be increased in the lower arch in order to relieve the crowding. (10-12) The first phase of treatment was buccal tipping of the collapsed canines in both jaws. (13-18) Once the predetermined canine width had been achieved, the lower incisors could be bonded and the arches levelled. (19) Finally the midline was corrected in the lower arch with a cantilever pulling the incisors towards the left side. (20-27) Status at the end of treatment. (28) Tooth movement performed.
