  3. Came over from Judah with Daniel – Daniel 1:1-7 • Stood with Daniel against being defiled – Daniel 1:8-16 • God blessed them for their faithfulness – Daniel 1:17-20 • When lives threatened, they prayed – Daniel 2:14-19, 49

  4. Nebuchadnezzar then built an idol – Daniel 3:1-7 • When threatened their faith did not waver – Daniel 3:8-12 • God rescued them – Daniel 3:13-18 • Nebuchadnezzar then promotes them – Daniel 3:28-30

Lessons from these Friends • Do not be afraid to stand for the Lord – Rev. 2:10; Eph. 6:10-17 • Do not be afraid to do right – Titus 2:2-8; Acts 4:19-20 And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve... But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:15
