  4. U1D11: Unit 1 Review, Pt 2 Homework Quiz • You may use a calculator, but not a phone • 10 Minute Quiz

  5. Reflect on M/T’s Quiz (Even Periods Only) • Based on your score, does this change any ofyour numbers in your learning log (2/5 or 2/6)? • Knowledge Targets: #13, #14, #15 • Reasoning Targets: H, I • 5: No Idea • 6: Heard it before • 7: Recall definition • 8: Recall definition & simple calculations • 9: Total beast

Grade Sheets • Things to Look At: • Final Grade (At Top) • Non-Graded Work (At Bottom)  # of notes you’ve had • Habits of Mind (At Bottom)  Completion of non-note work • Essential Skills & Knowledge (At Bottom)  Physics Mastery • Remember! If you do better on your exam on a topic, it will replace the old quiz grade.

  7. Calculator • Bring a calculator to the exam • Phones will not be allowed • You have until Wed/Thu to ensure you have a calculator • You must be able to square AND square root numbers

  8. Ensure Booklet is Finished • Lecture inserts posted at dp.davincischools.org/staff/blarkin • Staple them in if missing notes or notes are unreadable • Remember, this will be used for SLCs and POLs. I expect to see completed packets! (That means lectures AND videos)

  9. Add Vocab to Review Packet • Make sure you have your Unit 1 Review Packet • On Page 1, add “Power” to the vocabulary list • We went over some of the math equations together • We covered Questions #1-10 • Questions #1-23 are answered in a YouTube video for you convenience • It is YOUR responsibility to do the vocab & conceptual questions. Answers found in notes or videos!

  10. Video Answers to Review Questions • A video is uploaded on my DP that goes over all of the questions in the review packet. • “Unit 1 Review Packet Answers” Video Break Down • Video Part One: Questions #1-8 (12 minutes) • Video Part Two: Questions #9-13 (11 minutes) • Video Part Three: Questions #14-20 (9 minutes) • Video Part Four: Questions #21-23 (8 minutes) • Total Time = 40 minutes, so skip those you already know in order to save time 

Calendar Before End of Unit One • Class 1: 2/3 or 2/4  Topic = Power, Project = Building • Class 2: 2/5 or 2/6 Topic = Review, Project = Building & Speech • Field Trip on Friday, 2/7 • Class 3: 2/10 or 2/11 Topic = Review, Project = Building & Speech • Class 4: 2/12 or 2/13 Unit One Exam • No School on Friday, 2/14 • No School on Monday, 2/17 • Class 5: 2/18 or 2/19 Project Presentations

  13. Building • Use Checklist, especially for the speech! • Everyone should be participating • Your topic must be seen throughout the RG, and you must justify how your “final step” or “ultimate task” is related to your topic.

  14. Homework • Complete the Unit 1 Review Packet so that you are prepared for your exam on Wed/Thu • Use “Unit One Review Packet Answers” Videos Part 1, 2, 3, & 4 • Fill out the optional reference 1/4th sheet • Continue Working on Rube Goldberg • SMART IDEA: TAKE IT HOME!
