The Center for the Study of Health, Religion, and Spirituality (CSHRS) established as a collaborative partnership of academics, researchers, and practitioners to promote dialogue, scholarship, and service regarding the interrelationships between the domains of health, religion, and spirituality. Mission
To examine these relationships within a framework that encourages and values the contributions of interdisciplinary commentary and scholarship • To engage in cutting edge research that generates external funding and further research • To translate acquired knowledge into innovative programs and services to the wider community (i.e., interfaith dialogue, pastoral counseling, support services for loss/trauma, etc.) The purpose of the Center is threefold:
