  2. *Repetition and Consistency are needed on your webpage. *Navigation systems are a big help it gives the visitor clues to what there going to read next.

  3. Graphic Icon • If you use a graphic icon it’s best if you give a visual clue.

  4. 5 Knds of navigation • Must be linked to different pages. • There are text links that duplicate the links in the image map and act as simple links in body copy. • Graphic Icons act as buttons to link to other pages • There is an index page that offers links to every section. • Be consistent.

  5. Visual Theme It represents the overall content and it can be carried throughout the hold website. Navigation Elements can be very simple. It could be a phrase or a picture.

  6. Key Words • Index- Alphabetic key words that link to appropriate pages in the site. • Site Map- A graphic repersentation of the site, as a diagram that shows the site organization.

  7. Internal or Local or External? • Internal- Connects your web pages together. • External- Connects to someone else’s website.

  8. Must……. Check your links to make sure they are still working. External links are often down. Make sure the links is important.
