Project brief: Client : One family have 2 daughter, 3 son, two maid and looking for the architect to design unique villa to fit land site 20m X 30m.
Objectives : - Base on members of the family above how to design form style. - To make comfortable life, style, aesthetic, healthy, safety and good environment. - List up what residential need. How would you like to describe each room and any place? - How to divide space in use? How to arrangement? - To find out activity of people (General Activity-Special Activity),You think about VERB.
Design work to be prepared: • Research and analysis about building structure. • - Making plan-concept (sketching)-axis-zoning-movement-floor • How to put size? • Volume
To be submitted • Master plan • Roof plan • Floor plan with dimension • Elevation (4 views) • Section with dimension (2 views) • Detailing (at least 2 views or more) • - Hand drawing or AutoCAD program • Exterior or Interior hand sketching-perspectives with colored • Text note of concept sources or others. • - Architectural Model if working in group Individual Working or Group Working - Two person per one group

How to do the project? I- The Design Process Stage 1. Sketching form, style of what the project need! Stage 2.Production of Architectural Plans. Stage 3. Revise plans if are necessary Stage 4.Issue approved drawings and plans by Lecturers.

II- Design Activity May be formal or informal. Informal design occurs when a product is made by the designer without the use of a plan. Formal design involves the complete preparation of a set of working drawings. Ideas in the creative stage may be recorded by sketching basic images. These sketch are then revised until the ideas are crystallized and given final form. First sketches rarely produce a finished design. Usually, many revision are necessary.
