INITIATIVE OVERVIEW - Rationale • Technology can be used in schools to engage at-risk students and improve Alberta’s high school completion rates. • Ongoing research into best practices in classroom technology implementation. • The results of this research will be shared with all jurisdictions. Project Planning • A well-planned project is more likely to succeed. • A good project plan: • Features a Project Charter • Defines goals • Defines roles • Has a communication plan • Has a clear action plan • Establishes timelines and deadlines
