Hybrid Terms • HV Battery – High Voltage Battery (201 volts) • Inverter – Converts low voltage (201 volts) into high voltage (500 volts) for the motor/generator • Motor/Generator (MG) – Turns drive wheels or assists with HV Battery recharging • Regenerative Braking – Partial HV battery recharging from motor/generator under normal braking conditions
