Homework • Homework given almost every night + Check Plus  Check - Check Minus 0 Zero • Reading from texts or associated worksheets • Even if nothing assigned – CE or Book reports can be worked on • Lab Reports due when we have labs • No late homework will be accepted unless absent • All students will be given a homework punch card that will be punched for each completed assignment. Fill the card and receive a free homework pass!

  7. Grade Calculation Calculating Your Grade Tests: 50% Reports: (Current Events, Book and Lab Reports) 20% Behavior / Classwork 10% Homework: 20% Class Grade: 100%

Class Routine • Daily Science Trivia or Science Starter upon entering class • Videos or PowerPoint with Lecture • ISN’s – Interactive Science Notebook • Children will have free reign to use creativity to make their notebook their own • Survivor Science Classroom Management • Classes earn smilies and frownies based on participation, behavior, responses given • Class with most points each semester wins party of choice (ice cream or donut)
