ARC is available in many different colors and shades. You can find them at any drugstore or beauty supply store. Chemical formula : C18H14N2Na2O8S2 Molar mass : 496.42 g•mol−1 Appearance : Red powder Melting point : > 300 °C (572 °F; 573 K) Pigment Class : Cu Phthalocyanine This is an excellent dye for hair because it gives a rich, vibrant colour with no fading. It also has a low pH level, meaning it won’t damage hair. However, there are other reasons why people use AR as well. Usage It can be used as a coloring for meats, cheeses, beverages,food industry and baked goods such as cakes and cookies. It also can be used to add red color to candy such as gumdrops and hard candy. In addition to its use in food products, Dye may also be used in cosmetics such as lipstick and eye shadow.
