Long-term Disability • Details, details. • Who’s eligible? • Active Regular employees on U.S. payroll who are scheduled to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. • When am I covered? • After 31 days of employment. • Enrollment period? • -November 1-18.
Long-term Disability • What happens after a claim? • How long before I receive benefits? • On the 181th day of your disability. • When will my benefits end? • After 24 months of not being able to work in your occupation, and possibly longer if you continue to be disabled from any occupation. • What about pre-existing conditions? • Must be treatment-free for 6 consecutive months before the date your plan begins. • After your plan has been in effect for 12 months, no limitations on pre- existing conditions.
