What you need to know • The health care pathways (On Web backpack) • The health care standards (On Web backpack) • Key figures/symbols in medical history • Examples of occupations that fall into each pathway (On Web backpack) • Examples of what each standard represent (On Web backpack) • What the role of the FDA, WHO, NIH, CDC are • Legal and ethical issues (On Web backpack) • Alternative medicine practices and occupations (On Web backpack) • Health care models such as HMO. PPO, Medicare, Medicaid • History of medicine • Employment/Job skills (On Web backpack) • Education requirements in health care
Where you can find it • In your notes • In the textbook (found in the back of the room) • In your prior assignments, tests and quizzes
What the expectation is for the final • #2 Pencils • Be on time! • Quiet environment. Find something to read until the last final is handed in. • Absolutely NOelectronic devices during the test! • Questions can be asked. Line up at the front of my desk and wait your turn.
Coding the test • If you have look at the top right hand corner of the test there is a letter. That is the code. Make sure that you put it on the scantron sheet. • Fill in only the answers that are A-E. Leave blanks if necessary • True is coded “A” • False is coded “B”
Finally • Clear out your files and fill out the back page of your letter to yourself. • Use the back page and compare it to the front page. See if anything has changed! • You need to see the most AWESOME interview! This should be required viewing for anyone looking for work.
