  2. Drunk Driving Statistics • In 2008, 11,773 people died in alcohol-impaired vehicle crashes costing the nation $114.3 billion in 20001 (police, fire, medical, property repairs, ect.) • 31.6% of total fatalities (37,261)1 • One death every 45 minutes.

  3. TransBioTec is seeking beta test sites to evaluate its ScanLok™ system. • What is the ScanLok™ system? Skin based alcohol detecting device that operates with an ignition interlock system • Applicable to all types of vehicles. Examples: trucks, passenger vehicles, fork lifts, and others • First to market, completely patented and without competition • Similar in application to the ignition interlock system used with breathalyzers

  4. Why should you participate? • Assisting the development of the ScanLok™ system • Good corporate citizenship • Proactive in addressing a societal problem • Possible future free publicity for assisting with the development of the ScanLok™ system

  5. Why should you participate? • Joined with other national trucking companies and school districts beta testing the system • Help TransBioTec eliminate a national societal problem

  6. What is the cost to you? • Time – approximately one hour install • Our technicians do the install • Units are free for beta test • Units installed for approximately one month
