  1. 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebrations • We sit on the Lord Lieutenant’s Diamond Jubilee Group with: • The Army, Woman’s Institute, County Council, Winchester University, Hampshire Police and others • Hampshire Formal Service Sunday 27th May • Diamond Jubilee Weekend is 2nd to 4th June 2012: • Pageant on the Thames, Big Tea Party etc.etc.

  2. 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebrations • Scout/Guide joint Community Project • Joint Group meetings • Scouting Celebration Parade & Service • Friday 15th June 2012 (date out there!) • Parade starts 6.45 pm/Service starts at 7.30 pm. • Districts to reflect Scouting Activities • Group to put together service • Dean/Precentor leading for Cathedral

  3. 2012 Diamond Jubilee Celebrations • Jubilee Beacons: • Look at Districts to work together in established ‘cluster groups’ (8) to light beacons at ‘high points’ in their area. • i.e. Butser Hill in Petersfield District • Hampshire County website soon to be live http://www3.hants.gov.uk/diamondjubilee.htm
