I Design School for Technical and Environmental Innovation Pilot Initiative for Citywide Solutions Pregnant & Parenting Youth Hospital Bound, Court Involved Youth Transfer School: 150-540 students (ideal 250+) Grades Served in 2010-2011: 9 (18+ yrs; 16+ in yr 2) Total Planned Grades: 9-12 (6-8 as needed for ages 14 and up) School Description: The mission of iDesign Charter School is to truly engage young people in designing individual learning experiences and developing innovative solutions for knowledge acquisition. All students experience success through an individualized learning program and support. Students engage in an active learning community with teachers and community partners to design the future of schooling.
