BENEFIT QUANTIFICATION Memorial Hermann, Houston Texas, USA TransCar is a system that is allows a decisively more efficient operation than comparable systems. This was shown in the Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital in Houston, Texas. By replacing the 26 year old AGVS with an TransCar system, Swisslog reduced the number of vehicles from 60 to just 16. Although the performance could be decisively increased, which means the over all transport times were reduced by about 15%.

Further on the result of the study was, that Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital-System will save 11 million $, including operational costs and replacement of batteries, etc. over the next 15 years
