  1. The Haunted Candy Hunt By, Maddie , Gabby, Sophia, Andrew, Jack

  2. Once, on a dark and stormy night, there were five kids named, Chrissa, Tommy, D.J, Emma, and Mia. They were at a Halloween school dance at Virginia Dare School. They were having an awesome time when, BOOM! CRASH! THUNDER! Everything went dark! The kids all were screaming, but Tommy ran to a janitor’s closet. Then a black widow with greedy red eyes came out of the darkness baring her pointed teeth .She said, ‘’ You kids have one hour to find me 1,000 pieces of candy, and give it all to me!’’ ‘’MUA HA HA!’’ The kids were so scared that they were hugging each other! ‘’What is going to happen to us?!’’ Screamed Mia. They were afraid they would never see Tommy again. Then the Black Widow came out again and sent cobras to follow them.

  3. “What are we going to do?” shouted Emma. “We’re all going to have our worst nightmares come true,” exclaimed D.J. Chrissa and Mia got so scared that they screamed and hugged each other. “Now Tommy is stuck in the janitor’s closet,” whined Mia. “Calm down. Let’s brainstorm,” Emma said wisely. “Ummm…… let’s trick or treat,” suggested Chrissa. “To who though,” asked D.J. “How about all of the monsters in the school?” said Chrissa. “Yes! First let’s go to the sea monster that live in the school pool,” said D.J. happily. The sea monster gave them 20 pieces of saltwater taffy each. Then , Miss Frankenstein gave them 5 gigantic jawbreakers each. “We’ll have enough candy in no time!” Mia shouted happily. The cobras hissed sourly. “Not if we have anything to do about it,” hissed the leader cobra, Scar.

  4. Mia, Emma, Chrissa, and D.J are trying to get the candy from the monsters but the cobras try to stop them. The kids say, “Trick-or-treat”! To the mummies and cobras pop out of nowhere and then they say, “GO AWAY!” The cobras also hiss at the children . They scream and run away to hide behind a bush.

  5. Then they all go Trick Or Treating to all the monsters in the school. They run into a zombie, a werewolf and the Headless Horseman. D.J., Mia, Emma and Christa need to collect a piece of candy from the monsters, but the cobras try to stop them. D.J. finds a shovel and whacks the cobras on the head. The cobras are knocked out for 5 seconds- just long enough to get away and to get more candy ,they only need one more piece…

  6. When D.J., Emma, Mia and Chrissa are looking for the last piece of candy, the black widow appears and says, Times up!” Then they wake up on the school dance floor. Emma says, “Hey look, it’s Tommy!” Then D.J. Tommy, Emma, Mia and Chrissa see the black widow and they all screamed out loud!!!!
