  2. ABOUT KARWA CHAUTH POOJA Karva, which means ‘pot’ and Chauth means 'fourth' refers to the fourth day of the dark fornight of the month of Kartik. On the day of KarvaChauth, married women keep fast for their husbands and unmarried ones for their desired husbands without food or water from sunrise to moonrise.
