  1. ECUADOR: Network report Wilson Acero IG-EPN. Misión Reducir el impacto en la población y la infraestructura provocado por los fenómenos sísmicos y volcánicos en el Ecuador a través del monitoreo permanente, la investigación científica y la aplicación tecnológica

  2. Seismic Sources: -Subduction (4 events M > 7.7 since 1906) -Quaternary Faults (Mmax 7.4) -Volcanoes

  3. Seismicity 1990 – present: 4 events M>6 16 events M>5 ~ 200 M>4 / year

  4. Current Ecuadorian Seismic Network (2014): • 79 broand band (Guralp 40T, 6T, Smart 24R) • 30 short period (L4C) • 38 accelerographs (Guralp 5T)

  5. Data Transmission • VSAT at peripheral stations • Fiber networks using Transelectric net • Microwave back-bone • Digital radio links

  6. Current acquisition: ew and SEISCOMP3

  7. Future station (1-2 year): • +14 broad band • +10 accelerographs • +6 Ground Motion BB

  8. Data Policy • Open access to peripheral station waveforms • Real-time Data Exchange with regional networks (via seedlink, arcklink) • Access by request (via software developed based on fdsnws module of sc3)
