I-tubeinduction tube(portable free energy cell phone charger) From left to right Fadi Korkis Chin Cheung Jonathan Bence Preshanth Rejendran Ronald Spisak Doug Stanczak Objective - Create a device to charge a cell phone using wasted energy Solution - Use oscillating motion to create and store electrical energy Our device uses a magnet that, when oscillated through a coil of wire, creates an electrical current that is used to charge 4 AA batteries. The i-tubecan be fastened to ones ankle while jogging or biking to create the necessary motion to produce power. The i-tube produces an A.C current. In order to charge a battery, the A.C. current will need to be converted into D.C. current. A universal solution to an energy issue, that is economically feasible.
