Context • Large program of favelas (slum) upgrading and their integration into the urban tissue • Many interventions are planned • Infrastructure upgrading, roads, sewage and draining, water supply, garbage collection, etc • Impact evaluation will look into the following key identified areas: • IBASE: participatory diagnostic process • Service delivery and Operation & Maintenance • POUSO (Advanced Post for Urban and Social Orientation)
