Repetition • Repeat some aspect of the design throughout the entire piece • Same font for titles, subheadings • Graphic images (left-hand corner) • (Williams, 1994)
Alignment • Nothing should be placed on the page arbitrarily • Every item should have a visual connection with something else on the page • Left, center, right • (Williams, 1994)
Proximity • Group related items together • Closeness implies a relationship • Nothing wrong with white space • (Williams, 1994)
