The Start • Shady Records is an American hip-hop record label, founded by Eminem and his manager Paul Rosenberg in 1999, after the release of The Slim Shady LP. • Since formation, Shady Records has signed nine acts, including D12, 50 Cent, Royce da 5’9”, and more. • It has also been part of Shade 45 radio station via Sirius Satellite Radio.

  3. Bad Times • Tough times were seen when its record co-founder, Eminem, along with the artists were involved in very public feuds. • One being between acts D-12 and Royce da 5'9", • The Source magazine and Murder Inc. have also been memorable feuds

  4. Good Times • The label has also seen positive times. • One being part of the successful international Anger Management tours in 2006, also released an album showcasing its then roster on Eminem Presents: The Re-Up.

  5. Present • Lately, co-founder has been building on to a new branch of rappers, called Shady 2.0, and should be expected to be heard more of soon.
