Plot Newlywed Brianna comes home to find her husband in bed with mistress. As she throws him out of the house for his infidelity, she vows to get him back so that she can hurt him as he has hurt her.
Characters Brianna 24. Loving wife. Educated. Daddy issues. Loves with full heart. Newlywed of 1 year to Brandon. High School BFF, College Sweetheart. Puts up a strong front. Emotionally fragile.
Characters Brandon 25. Businessman. Married Briana for material reasons: (looks, friendship). Doesn’t love Brianna as a man loves his wife. Feels like he was rushed into marriagebecause of social stigma.
Characters Gabrielle Age 22. Brandon’s mistress. Met Brandon at conference. Was not aware at first that Brandon was married, but now is in too deep.
Characters Max Age 28. Police Officer. Head of Domestic Violence Division. Serves as Brandon’s ally in the department.
Characters Nia Age 24. Brianna’s best friend, partner in crime. Vows to help Brianna get revenge on husband.
Location Suburbs of Houston, TX.
Episode Guide Episode One: “After the Hurricane.” After a year of wedded bliss, Brianna comes home early from a business trip to find that her husband has been sleeping with another woman. Brianna snaps and vows to invoke as much pain as possible in Brandon’s life. Brandon, fearing what a messy divorce would do to his image a business man and potential local political candidate, tries to come up with an arrangement to make everyone happy. Brianna, not pleased, comes up with her own plan. Episode Two: “G4L” Brianna enlists the help of Nia to frame Brandon for assault. Brandon decides to pursue relationship with Gabrielle.
Target Audience The target audience for the show will be young adults, ages 18-35. More specifically the show will seek to target and explore issues concerning the African American race in a positive and enlightening way. Some issues include trust, the erosion of the “black nuclear family” and “Alien-self syndrome”.
