  2. Important Talking Points: • GPA “No F’s” vs. “One F” • 6 Activities for 8th grade (End of year). • Contract for all students failing.

  3. Grade Point Average… • This year it is really easy, make sure you don’t have any “F’s” If you have a D- you pass period. Next year you must maintain a 2.0 GPA which is much harder and students will have limited options for D’s. • Time is critical so please get back on track ASAP. Here are some things you can do: Before School AC, afterschool AC, Lunch time AC, being responsible for setting appointments with teachers/counselors, seeking help, self advocacy, check ABI daily and helping others “friends don’t let friends fail” be “lifelong successes”☺

The 6 choices are: • Promotion Ceremony @ MMHS Monday June 9th, 2014 • Roller Rink from 1:00-4:00 Tuesday June 10th, 2014 • Field Day from 9:30-1:30 Wednesday June 11th, 2014 • 8th grade Pancake Breakfast Thursday June 12th, 2014 (1st block) • 8th grade Promotion Dance 6:00-8:00 Thursday June 12th, 2014 • 8th grade awards Friday, June 12th, 2014 (1st block) • Successful people do not give up- • Even when things get tough !   5. Terms of your Contract: • Multiple “F”s = No Activities • 1 “F” = ONE Activity (your choice with signed contract)
