Mission • The Virtual University offers quality education using innovative educational models, collaborative learning, and advanced information technology, in order to contribute to the development and advancement of Spanish-speaking communities.
Background • Founded in 1989 with the objective of extending educational coverage without geographical limitations. • At the beginning, the Virtual University focused on satellite technology for course delivery and the Internet for student interaction. • In 1999, the Virtual University evolves and increases the number of on-line courses
