Water is our treasure Freshwater is a scarce resource. Its availability is limited and demand is growing. We all have our water footprint. It is the amount of water we use every day directly or indirectly (water used for growing food or making things we buy in shops) and even the water we save when we recycle.We should reduce our footprint by saving water in our houses, gardens, at school, etc.
We are determined to save water • We put warnings about the loss about the loss of water from water from leaking taps above all washbasinhs washbasins in the classrooms and toilets.
10 tips for saving water 1. Turn off water while brushing your teeth.2. Don’t let water run while soaping up yopur hands.3. If you see water coming from unused faucets, shut them off. 4. Tell your parents to fix leaking faucets. 5. Take shorter showers.6. Keep a bottle of water in the fridge, so you won’t need to let water run till it is cool enough to drink. 7. Fully load the dishwasher or washing machine. 8. Defrost frozen food in the refrigerator over night. 9. Plant flowers that don’t need much water. 10. Collect rainwater to water plants in the garden.
