  1. Welcome to the Walnut Debate Outreach Program Thank you for coming. Please have a seat, we will begin shortly.

  2. The mission of the Walnut Debate Outreach Program is to expose the Walnut community and its students to the educational benefits of debate by hosting competitions and instructional practices. The organization seeks to encourage improved critical thinking, advocacy, and public speaking skills among its staff and the students it is affiliated with. Mission Statement

  3. Mentor groups • In-year competitions: Inland Valley Debate League • Practice debates • Workshops and seminars • Debate curriculum • Improve public speaking skills • End of the year Suzanne-WHS Debate Tournament Plans for this Year

  4. Commitment and dedication • Hard-work and effort • Check your emails often • Work on developing your skills throughout the week What we need from you!
