As a part of National Safety Day the following activities were conducted: Corporate Social Responsibility Event 1: Internal Safety Drive Inside Scoop Knowledge Series At TCI, we believe that an essential element towards safety lies in ensuring a safe workplace and a trained, HSE-conscious workforce. Thus, we circulated banners, carried out safety drills and presentations, safety video was played, and made all our members across all regional offices read out the HSE policy to reinforce the world class culture of “Safety First” at our institution. The event saw the gathering of 350+ participants including government officials, industry leaders, 50 pan- India transporters owning 5000+ vehicles, and 150 drivers. Shri Sadanand Date, SSP Udham Singh Nagar was the chief guest at the event. The event included the launch of Suraksha Sandesh safety booklet, nukkad natak, free checkup, road safety exhibition, driver insurance drive, awareness drive, and an award ceremony for the best truck drivers. Mr. Rajkiran Kanagala, Group Head Business Development addressed the gathering and called for an elimination of the ‘Chalta hai!’ attitude on the road, and stressed that safety camps such as the current one have a positive impact in promoting best #HSE practices amongst the audience.
