Metamorphic Rocks • Metamorphic rock is a rock that is igneous, sedimentary ,and other rock that is changed by heat and pressure deep within the earth. May have bands or layers. • Marble ,gneiss and quartzite are metamorphic rocks.
Sedimentary Rock • Sedimentary rock is a rock that weathered many pieces of rock and soil which then settles into layers. The layers are squeezed together until they harden into rock.
Sedimentary rock • It’s formed where oceans ,lakes or other bodies of water exist or existed. • Limestone ,sandstone and conglomerate are kinds of sedimentary rocks.
