  2. Goals of Engaging Senior Executives We are engaging senior HR executives with one another and with SHRM to: Build their peer networks Provide a venue for them to give back to and lead the HR profession Leverage their insights to advise SHRM initiatives

Our Approach Our approach is centered around relationships: We are leveraging current relationships and building future ones to achieve ongoing engagement We are fostering these relationships with events and communications (e.g., receptions, online communities) We aim to be an exchange that connects senior HR thought leaders S M H R

  4. Local Hubs and Global Summits We have created a series of localized networks(“hubs”) We are using relationships to recruit hub leaders in each target city SHRM will support the hub leaders by organizing events and activities that build and sustain relationships, both locally and globally • Hub leaders will then invite people in their relationship networks to join • SHRM will provide support by suggesting potential hub members, but we want to capitalize on the hub leaders’ relationships first

Target Cities for CHRO Hub Locations We have identified hub leaders in 15 cities, and are targeting several others: • Current Hubs w/ CHRO Leaders: • Atlanta • Bogotá • Charlotte • Kansas City • Long Island • Louisville • Manchester • Manila • Additional Target Cities: • Boston • Chicago • Columbus • Dallas • Delhi • Denver • Houston • Los Angeles • Miami • New York • Phoenix • Portland • Providence • San Diego • Washington, D.C. • Minneapolis • Mumbai • San Jose • San Francisco • Seattle • Singapore • St. Louis
