  1. Welcome to Room 434…Mrs. Crippen Forms that the school would like completed and returned in the folder tonight are: Residency, Clinic, Survey, Transportation and White Card. --please hand completed folder to Mrs. Crippen before leaving this evening.

  2. Common Concerns • --We will make sure that the students will get on the correct bus on Monday. • --We will walk them to their connections classes for the first week so no one will get lost. • --We will not be using lockers for 2-3 weeks. • --Students will eat lunch with their 4th block teacher at a table only for their class.

  3. Things you will need the first day of school • Good attitude • Binders for classes and writing materials • Lunch • Healthy snack for 3rd period • Knowledge of how you are getting home. • Home room folder if it was not completed tonight

  4. Sixth Grade Schedule • 7:40-7:45 Homeroom • 7:45-8:30 First Connection Class (Band, PE, Art, etc) • 8:30-9:15 Second Connection Class • 9:15-10:30 Math, Science, SS or ELA • 10:30-12:10 Math, Science, SS or ELA and LUNCH • 12:10-1:25 Math, Science, SS or ELA • 1:25-2:40 Math, Science, SS or ELA

  5. Would you like to volunteer at RHMS? • Please use one of the designated computers in the Media Center to sign up to be a volunteer in the Bryan County School System. You will only need to sign up at one school. If you are also planning to volunteer at one of the other South Bryan schools, they will have access to your information. • Volunteer Orientation will be held on the following dates: • Tuesday, August 12th at 9:25 at the RH Pre-K Complex • Thursday, August 21st at 1:00 at the RH Pre-K Complex • Tuesday, August 26th at 7:00 PM at RHHS • Please choose a date, time and location that are convenient for you.

  6. Social Studies Information • --EVERYTHING can be found on my webpage • Signed course descriptions are due on Tuesday • Agendas will come home every MONDAY!!!! • We will be doing a problem solving activity outside on Friday. Kids should dress appropriately. • We are going to work hard and have a good time while doing it.

  7. Class Supplies • -3 ring binder (you can have SS with another class as long as you have a divider between the two subjects) • -Loose leaf paper (maybe 20-30 sheets at time)  --pens and or pencils • -colored pencils for map and note taking skills   --GREAT ATTITUDE • -dry erase marker--highlighter
