  3. Summary • In the book A monster callsby Patrick Ness is about a monster who is part of a yew tree behind Conner’s house. It comes walking at 12:07 every night and is telling him stories. The fourth story will have to be told by Conner. He will have to tell his inner truth/nightmare he’s having; that he could of saved his mother , but let her go.

  4. Plot • The plot of the book is to make Conner realize it’s okay to let go of pain and dismay and not to be mad at yourself.

  5. Climax • The climax is when Conner admits the truth about letting go of pain. (by doing so he drops his mother off a cliff in a nightmare.)
