  2. The Titanic was supposed to sail across the Atlantic Ocean in 6 days.

  3. 1912(100 years ago) the Titanic left port in Southhampton, England on its first voyage to New York City

  5. A suite would be $4,500 for a one way ticket. Back then a person could buy four houses with that much money.

  6. A third class ticket was $36.25.

  7. The Titanic only had 20 lifeboats for 2,200 passengers. They would need 40 lifeboats to save everyone.

  8. Once the Titanic was upright, it took 2 minutes go under water.
