Remaining questions • Does anybody need a large suction pump? • Need for any equipment outside racks: Gas flasks? (These can be installed, but we need to know early) Power on: Request for 4 hours prior to takeoff Aircraft out 2 hrs before take-off Power will be off for 10 minutes. Power off: Typically few minutes on the ground with A/C power Ground power later?
ICE-L upload dates (+ next page) This is the dates the racks and other equipment go into the aircraft. If you need time to assemble on the hangar floor, then please do this in the days before. Allow time for modifications based on engineering review. • Wyoming air intake 21 September (Friday) • Seinfeld HIMIL air intake 21 September (Friday) • Nevzorov ice water content (?) 21 September (Friday) Consider pod mount • Heimann (up looking) 21 September (Friday) • WCR rack test-install 21 September (Friday) • WCR Ceiling antenna and tray install 21 September (Friday) • WCR 2’nd measurements 24 September (Monday) • Wang WCL (unit in ceiling) 24 September (Monday) • WCR rack in, power up part of WCR 25 September AM (Tuesday) • Wang WCL (rack) 25 September AM (Tuesday) • Fox WCR calibration steering plate test fit 25 September AM (Tuesday) • WCL and WCR test on ramp (poss. down calib) 25 September all PM (Tuesday) • Prather AMS: 26 September (Wednesday) • Twohy CVI: 27 September (Thursday) • Beard/Ochs Charge 27 September (Thursday) • DeMott Ice Nuclei 1 October (Monday) • Jensen CPI 1 October (Monday) • Heymsfield SID-2 1 October (Monday) • Campos display 1 October (Monday) • Kok SP2 and CCNx3 3 October (Wednesday) • Baumgardner CAPS 3 October (Wednesday) • Campos 3 October (Wednesday) • Hudson CCN 8 October (Monday)
