  2. Simple Sentence A Simple sentence is build of a Subject and a Verb , or more . ( SV , , SSV , SVV , SSV , SSVV ) Example : SV – Ahmad is sleeping . SSV – Ahmad and Khaled are sleeping . SVV – Ahmad is eating and drinking . SSV – Ahmad and Khlaed are eating . SSVV – Ahmad and Khaled are eating and drinking .

  3. Compound Sentence A Compound sentence is made of two or more different sentences combined with a Coordinator . ( and , but , or .. ) Example : I went to the mall , AND bought some food. She was very active today , BUT now she is sleeping . He is thinking about going to the party , OR staying ay home .

  4. Complex Sentence A Complex sentence is made of two or more sentences combined with a Subordinator . ( as soon as , when , while , after ... ) Example : He will eat his food AFTER he finishes the exam . WHILE he was sleeping , his mother came home .

  5. How to correct errors (1) Error – He is a very . ( no meaning )Correct – He is a very good player . Error – He football . ( no Verb )Correct – He plays football . Error – is a really nice person . ( no Subject )Correct – Ahmad is a really nice person .

  6. How to correct errors (2) Error – I will go home but after I finish my lesson . ( no comma after BUT ) Correct – I will go home , but after I finish my lesson . Error – As soon as we finish studying we will go to the shop . ( no comma after STUDYING )Correct – As soon as we finish studying , we will go to the shop .
