  2. STEP-1If your operating system is Windows XP go by the following: • Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel.

  3. In the list you will find "Add or Remove Programs", double click and open.

  4. STEP-2If your operating system is Windows Vista go by the following: • Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel.

  5. In Control Panel double click on the "Programs and Features" icon.

  6. STEP-3If your operating system is Windows 7 go by the following: • Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel.

  7. In Control Panel double click on the "Programs and Features" icon.

  8. STEP-4After selecting your operating system and following the steps, proceed to the following. • Find the Symantec or Norton product listed and click on it. It should look similar to the Norton logo.

  9. Click on Remove/Uninstall to start the removal process.

  10. Once the removal process has completed, you'll be asked to restart the computer or to restart later.

  11. After rebooting, Norton should be removed from your system.
