    1. Getting Started With AutoCAD ENGR 2 Week #1 Laboratory

    2. Intent of Instruction It is pretty much accepted in the industry that 10% of the AutoCAD commands are used 90% of the time. We will focus on such a subset. The intent of the course is NOT to turn you into a well versed AutoCAD technician. You would need more training for that to occur. In this course you will learn just enough AutoCAD to communicate your ideas to a draftsmen, prepare sketches for technical documents, and some basic drafting.

    3. Overview Starting the Program Screen Layout Working With Toolbars The Command Line Box Starting A New Drawing Setting The Drawing Environment

    4. Starting the Program Locate and click on the AutoCAD icon or use the Start Menu to find the program and start it.
