  3. Shock Trauma Platoon The STP provides emergency medical care for critically injured Coalition Forces including minor surgical procedures and blood transfusions. The STP can see 50 patients, 20% being critical without any resupply. 1st MLG, 1st Medical Battalion, Advisory Training Group

  4. Shock Trauma Platoon The STP has 3-4 beds with each bed consisting of a team of 3 Corpsman, 1 ER Nurse, and 1 ER Physician. 1st MLG, 1st Medical Battalion, Advisory Training Group

  5. Forward Resuscitative Surgery System The 8-man FRSS team consist of 2 surgeons, ( 2 general surgeon or 1 general surgeon and 1 orthopedic surgeon) 1 Anesthesiologist or Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists, 1 Critical Care Nurse, 1 Independent Duty Corpsman, 2 Surgical Technicians (Corpsman), and 1 Corpsman (FMST).

  6. Forward Resuscitative Surgery System The FRSS provides Role 2 surgical capabilities comprised of an 8 man team able to conduct 18 surgical cases within an 48 hour period without resupply. 1st MLG, 1st Medical Battalion, Advisory Training Group
