Classroom Rules • Classroom rules are outlined in the Parent Letter provided the first day of class and posted on http://mrsmorin.weebly.com. • Students keep the parent letter at the front of their binder for reference. • I require the last page be completed and returned to me as a graded assignment (process grade). • Students come to class prepared with all necessary supplies: • Pencils and a small sharpener or pens (blue or black ink only) • Science binder with tabs, paper (~ 100 sheets) and the required handouts distributed in class.
Classroom Rules • Students must ask permission to leave my room for any reason. • All students receive color-coded Hall Passes at the beginning of each quarter. • Unused hall passes may be exchanged for extra credit points on assignments the following quarter. • Students use lockers only at team-designated times posted in the classroom and hallways.
Attendance • Attendance is critical to the learning process. • Be on time to all to all classes. • Arrival and Lockers 7:10 – 7:20 • First period begins at 7:33. • 6th graders should be able to master their schedules by the end of the second week of school. • Organized lockers help this process considerably!
