Opportunities for collaboration • Knowledge Evaluation of commercial MTCA components • Several institutes (CERN, SLAC, DESY) are evaluating shelves, PSUs, MHCs, etc. • Some duplication of effort • Not all results are public • Looking for ways of sharing results (confidentially) Interoperability testing • Different institutes have different inventory of products • Different levels of local expertise • CERN PH/ESE happy to provide its tools and devices for “self service” tests • Assistance from experts on best effort basis Common specifications • ATLAS and LHCb plan cooperation on definition of minimal requirements of ATCA systems 7th meeting of the xTCA IG
