  2. Statistics for the Use of Field Catalog • The last two statistics, “Hits” and “Bandwidth”, are more meaningful indicators, which show the increase of 2.7 and 6.4 times from May to June respectively.

  3. Collections of Field Catalog- Report • The real-time filling-in and uploading of reports work successfully as expected. • Ten kinds of reports collected starting May 15 (May 1 for sounding reports) • ~2500 reports in total submitted by participants and scientists during the field experiment

  4. Collections of Field Catalog- Operational Products • Satellite • IR/Vis/WV channels for global/Asia/Taiwan domains with 30min update • 31,065 images collected • Radar • Reflectivity and radial velocity for four radars with 6 to 10min update • 248,995 images collected • Surface • Surface analysis/mesonet and precipitation observations/Taipower lightning with one hour to10min update • 31,142 plots collected • Upper Air • Upper air analysis/skew-t/time-high with 3 hourly update as available • 5,962 plots collected

  5. Collections of Field Catalog- Model/Forecast Products • Include forecasts from CWB-WRF (45/15/5km domains) and global models of CWB, NCEP, JMA and ECMWF. • ~200,000 forecast plots collected during the field experiment

  6. Collections of Field Catalog- Research Products • Include real-time products of COSMIC sounding, dropsonde, rain measurement system, NCAR-Spol and ISS wind profiler and surface observations, the latter three with 7-10min update. • ~50,000 images collected during the field experiment

  7. Data Archive Access • Data access restriction is on starting June 9. Users need a login application and approval of the SoWMEX/TiRMEX science team before being able to access to data archive. Until June 26, 16 users have been approved.

  8. Current Data Archive Status • The raw data that scientists are most interested in have been collected in real time and available currently on data archive. • Until June 25, the data have been downloaded 10,285 times.

  9. Acknowledgments • DM team would like to thank all of you who have been involving the products/data collection for continuous support from SoWMEX 2007 to 2008. • So far if you think DM team has been doing a good job, that’s because we have excellent team work between CWB and SoWMEX science team.
