Roll and Race • Play with a partner • Materials Needed: 2 pair of dice, number line strips(copied or drawn number lines of the same length)and a writing tool. • To Play: • Each player rolls their dice. The greater number is the denominator and the least number is the numerator. • Plot the fraction on your number line. • Score a point for the greatest fraction each round. Both score if they are equivalent. At the end of 10 rounds each player gets 5 points for each equivalent fraction pair.
