What judges look for a winner? • Attract your attention? • Introduce topic in a way that makes you want to know about it? • Presenter develop ideas smoothly? • Language clear and easy to understand? • Presenter’s statement of persuasive, logical, and relevant to the topic? • Presenter sign clearly and slowly enough for everyone to understand? • Eye contact and use appropriate expression?

  7. Rules for contestants • 5 to 6 minutes long • Topic: “The importance of NTID’s role in America’s Deaf communities.” • One winner will go to NAD Conference to represent NTID as delegate on July 3-8, Y2K
