The ‘science’: …Body mass index (BMI) is used to calculate whether a person is underweight, a healthy weight, overweight or obese for their height… British Asians set lower BMI target: - “…Asians are at higher risk of diabetes than white populations, meaning they should ideally aim for a BMI of 23…” “…Carrying too much weight around your waist increases the risk of conditions like type 2 diabetes…” 'Lower' Asian obesity threshold: - “…People from Asian origin are more likely than white people to develop heart disease and type 2 diabetes…”

Favourite routes include Bradgate Park & Swithland Water. • Flexi Yoga (led by Vasant Tank and wife Urmilaben) • Tues & Thurs evening from 7.30pm to 9.00pm, at 79 Flax Road, Belgrave, Leicester. Only £2.00 per session.
