  1. Who Is your favorite player and why? BY: Abdullah Al Kaabi

  2. Who is the player? • He’s name is Messi. He’s from Argentina. He is 24 years old.

  3. What club, team or country does he play for? • Messi plays for Barcelona and Argentina. He’s been with Barcelona for 12 years and Argentina for 7 years.

  4. What is the player’s background, how long has he been playing, what positions does he play? • Messi was born in Argentina. He started playing football at the age of 6. Messi got his recognition from playing with a team called Newell’s Old Boys. He played for them for 5 years, he started at the age of 8. He plays two possessions, striker and second striker.

  5. Why do you enjoy watching this particular player more than others? Give specific examples of great passages of play they have been involved in. • I enjoy watching Messi because he is a great player and he scores a lot of goals which makes the match more exiting. He is very energetic and fans always cheer for him. One time in a game against Real Madrid, Barcelona defeated Real Madrid 5-0, Messi scored a hat-rick. That made me so exited and he’s been my favorite player ever since.

What are 3 questions you would ask the player if you had a chance to interview them for TV and why? • How did you feel when you won the Golden Boot? • How does it feel when you score a goal? • When do you think you’ll retire? • I would ask him these questions so I would know more about him and be better fan.

  7. List the various sources that you have got information from ie; websites, magazines, books etc • I just used www.wikipedia.com, from JSC sports and info I knew along time ago.
