Every dollar saved by DFAS is a dollar that can be used to better equip the Warfighter.
FORMAL SCRIPT:
From a Warfighters perspective, we pay the millions of people who defend America. We pay the thousands of Contractors and Vendors who provide the products and services that enable Warfighters to defend America. We process the accounting transactions, maintain the accounts, and provide financial information that enables Warfighters to plan and conduct mission operations within fiscal constraints.
Our vision is focused on delivering Best Value to Our Customers. Just as our nation has a world-class defense, DFAS is striving to provide world-class finance and accounting services to those who defend America. Our customers deserve no less. We want to do nothing less.
We want to build consultative relationships with our customers. We will work as a team to earn customers trust and confidence. We will do this with business intelligence; providing the most accurate, timely, and useful financial information for decision making.
As previously mentioned, DFAS implemented a new organizational structure to make individual senior executives personally accountable for each major customer and business line. We have shifted focus away from geographical silos to a customer-focused delivery of business services.
Since our people are the key to making our vision a reality, it is important that we are viewed as an employer of choice.
Our understanding of what it means to: deliver best value to our customers, be a world-class provider of finance and accounting services, and be the trusted, innovative financial partner is expanded upon in the slides that follow.
