  2. LOCAL CALIBRATION PROCEDURES(LCPs) Ken Felix MS40 June 2002

  3. TASK • Identify test equipment (TE) requiring calibration support utilizing Local Calibration Procedures (LCPs) • Approve LCPs • Convert appropriate LCPs to Instrument Calibration Procedures (ICPs)

  4. APPROACH • Identify LCPs used by NAVSEA laboratories • NSWC Corona Letter of 1 August 2001 • METRL/MEASURE model number search • Identify all active LCPs with workload from using laboratory • CPR query • Lab manager telephone call and spreadsheet information • Locate LCP hard copy and technical data • Verify 17-35TR-04 format • Manufacturer’s manual or specification sheets on the model • Officially publish LCP in METRL with models and intervals • ST700-AM-PRO-010/TAMS, Section 3 • Convert LCP to ICP as workload warrants

STATUS • Identify 270 LCPs • Cancelled 4 LCPs as calibration support was found • Radio Shack Digital Stopwatch, Model 63-884 NCR • Wayne Kerr Automatic LCR Meter, Model 1EV7330 • Currently supported, 17-20AZ-127 • Control Sciences Digital Synchro Meter, Model DSM-4 • Currently supported: 17-20SJ-02 and 33K8-4-1054-1 as supplemental data • Bertan High Voltage Power Supply, Series 915 • Currently supported: 17-20AH-06 and 17-20AH-78
