How Does This Apply to Us? • Shavuot/Weeks- one of three great pilgrim festivals- Exodus 23:14-17 • Jesus celebrated the Feasts Luke 2:48 John 7:10 Matthew 26:17-19 • Jesus promised He would not leave us as orphans-John 14:16-17 • The risen Lord Jesus told the disciples to wait for “the promise” Acts 1:4 Moments before He ascended to glory -Zechariah 14:4 • Ten days later- Shavuot- Acts 2:1 Pentecost! Jeremiah 31:33 • One in Messiah- The greater coming harvest Ephesians 2:14-15
